Day Ten Release: Artwork

This one was originally scheduled for day eleven but since I’ve had an unexpected increase in submissions for that day you all get to enjoy Officer 1BDI’s artwork 24 hours earlier, so rejoice! As with all of the artworks I’ve been posting up over the past week and a bit this one is best viewed at it’s full-size, so please click on the thumbnail below to see it up close and personal:

Some of you will immediately recognize the two characters in this piece as River and Petal, the pair of C2 Norns made famous through their appearances in the Creatures newsletters that were sent out between June 1997 and February 1998. Some of you may also recognize the reference to one of (if not the) most infamous bugs in any of the Creatures games.

   Oh I know these two! They’re in my big Creatures 2 manual. XD These are very nice.

   That’s just awesome. I instantly recognised them in the thumbnail. Very clever reference to the flying lemons too. :D
