Day Eleven Release: Artwork

on Wednesday

November 11th is a very important day in Creatures history, and I’m sure that a few of you will know this one, as it’s the 13th anniversary of Creatures 1.  Perhaps lesser known, however, is that today also marks the 9th anniversary of Creatures Playground.  That’s right, two big anniversaries in one day!  That makes November 11th a pretty good day to think about CCSF 2009’s theme of time in my opinion, and a great opportunity to reminisce about ‘the good old days’.

But I digress.  I’m not supposed to be posting here to get all nostalgic after all, I’m here to bring you another release!  Below is a lovely piece of artwork by Malkin; please read the commentary, click on the thumbnail for a full-sized view and enjoy.

“Nsana and Norn”

Nsana and Norn

“Reading about how Steve Grand was inspired by A.K. Dewdney’s novel The Planiverse, I got to wondering, what would it be like if a Nsana from the Planiverse and a Norn from Albia were to meet? Here is a Nsana and a Norn holding hands.” - Malkin
